Semaines de la mobilité
Laval September 18 2017 —The STL invites the population to come ride its buses for one dollar on September 22nd in an initiative under the Semaines de la mobilité occasion, which runs from September 13th to the 30th in the entire Greater Montreal area.
Dollar Day saw some 2,738 additional trips carried out last year, which amounts to a 4% increase in regular ridership. ‘Dollar Day is a great way to attract new customers and demonstrate how simple and effective using public transport can be. By taking the bus, Lavallers contribute to alleviating traffic congestion and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. That’s one step closer to achieving sustainable mobility!’ said STL Board President David De Cotis.
