Students, be ready for back-to-school time!

In September, you’ll be taking an STL bus to go to school?

Remember that starting in September, all students will need to have a valid OPUS card in hand, with photo ID; otherwise, they will have to pay the exact amount on boarding the bus. To avoid any problems, here are the STL’s suggestions, depending on whether you already have an OPUS card or not, your age and the expiry date of your card.

Click here to find out to which schools STL representatives will be going so that students can renew their OPUS cards on site. If your school isn’t on the list, you will have to go to a metropolitan ticket office.

You do not have an OPUS card with photo ID et you are between 12 and 14 years of age ?

You must present yourself at a ticket office as of August 1^st. The cost for your OPUS card will be $15. Your card will be valid for 2 years.

3 Cash and exact change if You go to the STL kiosk at school.

You don't have an OPUS card with photo ID and you are over 15 years of age.

You must present yourself at a ticket office as of August 1^st. The cost for your OPUS card will be $15. Your card will be valid for 1 year.

3 If you are 16 years old or more, you must provide proof of registration at school

4 Cash and exact change if You go to the STL kiosk at school.

You must present yourself at your school if the STL goes there, otherwise at a ticket office as of August 1^st in order to replace your card. The cost of your OPUS card will be $14 at school or $15 at the ticket office. Your card will be valid for 2 years.
