Alternatives to single-occupancy vehicle use

In keeping with its mission to promote and contribute toward the development of sustainable transportation on its territory, the STL launched a new and original offensive at the end of 2008. In association with Clic, the Réseau de Covoiturage, Communauto and the Association québécoise de lutte contre la pollution atmosphérique (AQLPA), it announced the implementation of agreements that will make it possible to offer a full range of alternatives to single-occupancy vehicle (SOV) use in Laval, starting in early 2009.

By teaming up with organizations working, just like itself, toward offering more environmentally-friendly transportation solutions, the STL is once again displaying its receptiveness and avant-garde spirit in seeking solutions within the fight against greenhouse gases.
